I’m happy to announce that I recently did my Master’s defence here at Universidade Federal de Viçosa! If I’ll be honest, it feels unreal, because remember that I started my Master’s degree in a language I had never spoken before! I’m 8% Brazilian! | Sou 8% brasileiro!

It’s been quite a while since my last post. Perhaps it could be attributed to the settling-in effect, where I’m no longer feeling like a total stranger in some strange faraway lands. As it now stands, I’ve officially lived in Brazil for 2 1/2 years. Two-and-a-half. That’s nearly 10% of my life!
